A logo sticker is a colour-matching job

The design is usually simple — a mark, a wordmark, sometimes both — which means there is nowhere to hide. A slightly wrong red, a soft edge or a visible white border around a die cut reads as a cheap sticker.

Three things decide whether it looks professional: the cut, the colour, and the material.

Two options:

  • Contour cut — the sticker follows the outline of the mark. It looks custom and avoids a white margin, but it needs a clean vector path and a shape without thin protrusions.
  • Standard shape — circle, square or rounded rectangle around the logo. Cheaper at low quantities, no die cost, and often the better choice for small stickers.

For very detailed marks, a contour cut at 30 mm can look ragged. A simple shape with a clean margin usually prints better at that size.

Colour

Send CMYK artwork, or a Pantone reference if the brand colour must match existing packaging. Digital printing reproduces colour closely but not identically to litho or screen printing; if the sticker will sit next to a litho-printed box, expect a small difference and check a physical sample.

For a solid brand colour, ask for a sample before the run. It is the cheapest way to avoid a reprint.

Size

Most logo stickers are 30–70 mm across. Below about 25 mm, fine detail and small text stop being legible — simplify the mark rather than shrinking it.

On clear vinyl, keep the logo on a white ink area or it will read translucent against dark packaging.

Materials

White vinyl is the default for packaging and general use. Clear vinyl gives a no-label look on glass and dark surfaces but needs white ink. Paper is cheaper and adequate for indoor, short-life use such as event giveaways.

Metallic vinyl is available for a premium effect and is quoted separately.

Quantity and cost

Small stickers are dominated by setup rather than material: at 50 units, most of the price is the plate, die and make-ready, not the vinyl. That is why the per-unit price falls sharply between 50 and 500 and flattens after that.

Ordering

Send the logo as a vector file, the intended size, the surface it goes on and the quantity. If the logo has fine detail, send it anyway — we will tell you what will and will not survive at that size.

Questions we get before every order

What is the minimum order for logo stickers?

50 units per design. Mixed designs can be combined in one order where the material and size match; ask us and we will confirm before quoting.

How long does production take?

Typically 7–12 working days after artwork approval. Delivery time depends on destination and shipping method, and is confirmed with the quotation.

What artwork do you need?

A vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) at final size, with fonts outlined. If you only have a PNG or JPG, send the highest resolution you have and we will tell you whether it is usable before you pay anything.
